This is because the southern and southeasterly winds cover the upper part of Thailand. The eastern and southeasterly winds cover the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea, causing the South to continue to have thunderstorms. In the Gulf of Thailand, waves will be approximately 1 meter high. In areas with thunderstorms, waves will be higher than 2 meters. Sailors in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea are advised to avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms.
